Excellent, authentic Italian food

Stopped here driving through the area and it was delish! I had the salmon salad. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the salad items were all fresh. My husband got the muscles and they were also awesome! Plus they have gluten free items! Next time we are in the area we will definitely stop again!

Been there 2 times NOT dissappointed. The food AMAZING. Took family thry loved it. Ill be back again for sure. Their food will not let you down. My boys say it is the best food ever, no other restaurant can not match their food, DELICIOUS. We dove 6 hours to get there. WELL WORTH IT

Not open very sad

I went here for dinner with my boyfriend. When we arrived at peak dinner time, there was only one other table seated. We ordered arancini, mussels, and the pesciatore linguine. The arancini were okay but seemed like they were fried from frozen, the mussels were totally bland, and the linguine was disappointing as well. After reading so many positive reviews, what we encountered seemed like such a shame. Also, they seem to be having trouble with their HVAC as it was incredibly loud and leaky, so much so, that I’d say it distracted from the dining experience. I will not be back.

Delicious food, and staff was really nice.

Been here a few times. The first couple time wasn’t to impressed. After my last visit I gutta day they are defiantly stepping it up. Food was on point. Staff was friendly. Would defiantly recommend to friends.

Great food great service.

We ordered gluten free pizza and an order of meatballs. The meatballs were great and the gluten free crust was one of the best we have had and the toppings were outstanding and delicious. Thank you for a great dinner.

Best Italian food you'll eat

Fantastic food. Wonderful atmosphere. And the staff is genuinely friendly. I recommend... Well everything. All the entres our group ordered was fabulous. Lobster bisque was amazing! Veal Parm perfection. Awesome Shrimp and Seafood Alfredo. Magnificent! Join the text club and get an extra special treat!

Terrible service. The waitress neglected our table. Terrible food. Overpriced and quality was sub par. Unpleasant experience overall. Would not reccomend going as it will ruin your evening like it did for me.

The calamari was cooked perfectly. The main course --pasta and pizza-- delicious.

Best kept secret in Centre County. This restaurants cuisine is as good as any Italian restaurant anywhere Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Charleston . The atmosphere is family friendly and always meticulously clean.

Fantastic food, terrific wait staff, cozy atmosphere

Decent food and Service here. As a foodie who has lived in Orlando, Los Angeles and Las Vegas I've been around lots of top chefs and great restaurants. Mama L's holds up to high standards as far as the food goes. Place was full up the night I went, which is a good sign to start. I commend the owner/chef on her ability to push out the great food, timely in a tight space. Keep up the good work.

I've eaten dinner here twice and had two lovely meals. Service is prompt and friendly, and the entrees are very good. I've had seafood in vodka sauce and the baked zita with Bolognese sauce, and can recommend both. BYOB.

The food is excellent. We have liked everything we've tried here from chicken Parmesan to seafood to calzones. Too bad they don't have a liquor license. The dining room can get loud if they're busy.

Since their Makeover Mamma Lucrezia's has gone from strength to Strength. Their food is amazing, the staff always pleased to see you and happy to help. The decor is nice, the atmosphere pleasant. So happy to have this restaurant here in town. It's a regular for us.

Fantastic little restaurant with many wonderfully sophisticated flavors and very kind wait staff. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and my wife ordered the Mediterranean Pizza and both were superb flavors. The chicken had a lot of flavor that was nicely juxtaposed against the simple sophistication of the linguini that accompanied it. My wife's pizza was made to order, as she doesn't like certain ingredients, and they delivered exactly what she wanted. The staff was exceptionally friendly and I believe one of the individuals who came by to say hi was the restaurant's owner. Lovely little restaurant that is well worth the drive.

Lobster Bisque was excellent, Shrimp and Crab Alfredo was very good, Salad was very fresh and delicious, Tiramisu was yummy. Cleanliness of the restaurant was A+. Over all a very good experience. I am full!

The food was very good I would come back. Very clean place and nice service.

Cozy little spot. The mussels were amazing, the gluten free cake was superb. The gluten free pasta, average. Definitely edible, but overshadowed by the quality of the rest of the meal.

I don’t often write reviews, however.... They charged me $4 for approximately 1/8th of a cup of Alfredo sauce on my dish (I am expecting and unable to have white wine sauce which is on the majority of their menu). So as a SUBSTITUTION, I was charge $4. Okay maybe $1 if they need to make money on substitutions, but to increase the price of my meal by 25%!? Absolutely not. That made my filet of chicken and small scoop of pasta a $20 meal. AND they did not include the broccolini that was supposed to be included. We will not be returning, things like this are simply uncalled for.

We went to Mama Lucrezia's for the first time over the weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal (Chicken Francaise) but my husband's baked ziti was not good at all. Tasted like canned tomato sauce. Also, there is nothing on the website to indicate that it's BYOB. Would have been nice to know in advance. We will try it again and just avoid the tomato sauce dishes. I'll provide an update if our impressions change!

Great food but slow to get

Shrimp and crab Alfredo was yummy as always. Hubby said the caesar salad was yummy as well. Pizza was also good.

Sharing for my husband who says the Orecchiette is the best he has ever eaten. Would give it 5 plus stars. For me, I love their Lobster Bisque.

My favorite place to eat in Bellefonte! Very clean dinning room, friendly service and most importantly delicious food. My go to meal is the lobster and crab pasta but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

They have the best stromboli

The food at Mamma Lucrezia's was absolutely fantastic! The vodka sauce was delicious and the crab and shrimp alfredo was to die for! The service was fantastic even though it was graduation weekend and they had many other larger tables and reservations to handle. If and when we return I would be proud and happy to support such a wonderful business. Thank you again for making a awesome birthday! (The zeppoli was fantastic!!)

Just discovered this place this fb season. Incredible Italian food, at very reasonable prices (especially since it's BYOB). Vodka pasta sauce,is maybe the best I have ever had. I travel from Pittsburgh for every fb game and I eat here every time. Service is also top notch. A gem of a restaurant!

Ordered two cheese steaks to go...the cheese steaks back in the day were the absolute best. Not so great tonight for $20 and change for two sandwiches....will still order from there again.... I have faith the next cheese steaks will be great.

Nice place. Not a lot of room for many people. Took a long time for food to come. Waitress brought the wrong food for me but came back quickly with the right order. Food was fine. I didn't think it was a bad place. Maybe just a rough night for them.

The food has SO MUCH TASTE. It's probably one of the most flavorful Italian restaurant I've been in. The 3 star is because me and my party had a VERY heavy 11 hour shift and we have to travel 3.5 hours to get to the next job site, so, long day. We waited 40 minutes for 3 plates. I'm not annoyed at the waiting time, but at the fact that we were not told about it, we would have chosen 1000 times a Burger King and getting to sleep earlier than waiting 40 minutes for the food. After the food was delivered, the check was handed out to us in the middle of dinner, 5 minutes later she comes and picks the check up, but since we were still eating, we had not put the cards there, it was very uncomfortable to be kind of rushed to pay when food took so long, really annoying.

Our neighbor recommended this restaurant when we first moved to the area. Now every time we have visitors, it’s the first place we recommend!! Food is delicious, service is impeccable, and it’s BYOB.

I don't know WHY I've been hearing negative comments and thots about Mama's, BUT "we" (party of 4) thot the place and food was simple and GOOD!! We'll go back!! Thanks DTM I had the spaghetti and meatballs w/garlic bread and a nice caesar salad.

This is the best pizza I have had in a long time. Awesome crust and lots of vege pizza choices. They also offer gluten free options as well.

Love the food here. Tender pasta, delicious, crunchy garlic bread. The staff are friendly and helpful.
